Fantastic machine gun package that includes both an original Heckler & Koch HK53 rifle and an original Flemming registered machine gun sear. The host gun is marked with both its own serial number and the sear serial number – allowing both to be sold on one tax stamp! Basically two NFA items in one! This item is currently on a Form 4 in Colorado and can be transferred to any individual legally through the Form 4 process. Takes a little while, but this purchase will be worth it !
The sear is multi-caliber registered and so can be dropped into any HK product that accepts this type sear – basically turning any HK into a legal full auto machine gun. The HK53 host gun should be able to be separated from the sear on a Form 1 if you wish to separate these two NFA items permanently.
Overall condition of both the HK53 and the sear is considered to be Excellent, with little to no wear on either item. The current owner purchased this as an investment, and so put VERY few rounds through it himself (300rds). It has been sitting in a safe for most of its life.
The HK53 features a retractable stock, threaded flash hider/break, three-position selector, paddle-style mag release, detachable rail, and classic drum rear sight. All internal parts are believed to be original to the gun (except for the Flemming sear of course). We see no visible defects in the paint coatings or stocks.
